Respect Yourself is a non-profit organisation helping teens stay on the right path. The concept encapsulated: a daily SMS 'wink': reaching out by text, to teens, with information to empower them, enabling them to make more informed life choices. We are based in Norwich and want to make a real impact in the community. We'll be working in partnership with charities and organisations to get their messages across by sending out a daily text to youngsters with info on key topics like bullying etc.

The Norwich Kitty Business Directory name derives from an idea that is intended to help local pubs and businesses alike, the Kitty aspect represents the funds raised to create events for the business venues. It is also the first fully interactive business networking directory in Norwich. It combines the structure and convenience of a business directory with the fun and social aspects of a business networking club and aims to bring both elements together for the first time.

Business networking can be an expensive especially if you join a few networking groups, although the return in business can make it worth while. Our aim to give better value for money by creating more Business events at more convenient locations and at times that don't effect the business day. All this will be delivered at a much lower price point than other networking and business directories. Our aim is to provide a minimum of 1 event per week, each business event costing less than a the price of a pint of beer.

The time spent Business networking has to be practical and early morning business meetings are hardly when we are at our best, lunchtime business events disrupt the flow of your working day and evening events are great if you have't got a social life. The Norwich Kitty networking holds meetings that naturally dovetail on to the end of your day so you still get home at a reasonable hour. Business networking meetings will be strictly for networking only with no timewasting exercises.

The website is designed to help, login each day to see when the next business event is taking place and keep up to date with the latest business offers and news. Generate business by offering B2B services and deals to others in our Networking forums, discuss other business matters and concerns as well as building your networking connections.

Our task is to put you in touch with other business members. Along with our fantastic networking events we are working on a business forum that will allow you to talk to other companies. Why not invite them to a forthcoming Kitty networking event or use the business forum to touch base with them following a recent meeting? Better still if you have an offer you would like to pass on then publicise it on the forum to gain maximum exposure!

We found the problem with existing business networking events is that they are too few and far between meaning any rapport you have worked at building up has well and truly dwindled before the next networking meeting takes place. The Norwich Kitty Directory will aim to provide at least one networking event a week from its launch in September allowing business networking to become more accessible, more regular and therefore more natural for its members. The Kitty will always have its finger on the pulse.
