Once a member – always a friend. That’s the way we roll at Norwich Kitty Business Networking Group.
Nothing pleases us more than seeing an ‘ex-pat’ walking through the door on a Thursday night and this week it was an absolute pleasure to welcome back Eric Farrow to The Golden Star on Colegate. Having moved to Birmingham where his business EF Leafleting distribute some 250,000 items every month Eric was back home and popped in to quote for an existing Norwich Kitty Networking Group member looking to promote their business in Norwich via a door to door leafleting campaign.
Whilst on the theme of old friends it was great to put a Norwich Kitty Networking Group membership lanyard around the neck of Chris Beecham, the life insurance specialist at Vincent Burch Mortgages. Meanwhile new faces in the room included Anthony ‘Ant’ Wright from 52 Degrees Telecom and Jenna Rich from Inspired Youth. I hope you enjoyed your first experience of Norwich Kitty Networking Group guys and look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
The food that followed the Norwich Business Networking was excellent again and a big shout out to Huw Thomas from the Colegate Bistro for providing it at his own cost. Networking in the Golden Star would simply not be possible without Huw and so I hope the Norwich Kitty Networking Group networkers repay his generosity by going back to the pub for a meal during the week or for a Sunday roast which I hear are the best in Norwich! Sunday lunch is from 12 – 4pm and two courses is just £12.95.
Finally what a great turnout again despite the yellow weather warnings that were in place on the night. It’s a good job Norwich Kitty Networking Group members are a hardy bunch and no doubt we’ll see you all again next week at the Coach & Horses on Bethel Street – rain or shine!
