It’s becoming a bit of a habit now, another Thursday night and yet another new venue for the Norwich Kitty Business Networking Group.
This time The White Lion on Oak Street was our destination for more fun and relaxed business networking.
Half term week is traditionally a very quiet time for businesses which is normally reflected in the number of Norwich Kitty Networking Group attendees. Not this time around however, as another bumper crowd settled in to the back room of the pub to listen to each buisness being introduced to the room with our unique ‘30 words‘ system.
As is also becoming the norm these days there were more new visitors to welcome into the mix, this week we were delighted to meet Monica Steri from SmartPA and Charlotte Young from CY Training & Therapies. A big shout out to Anthony Wright from 52 Degrees Telecom Ltd and Eleanor Santos from Santos Photography for inviting their guests along, they seemed to enjoy the evening!
As far as visitors go Charlotte certainly made a very quick impression. After the formal business of the evening was over and the networking crowd had tucked into the delicious pizza delivered courtesy of the White Lion, Charlotte proceeded to give a free hands-on demonstration of how she can fix aches and pains, getting to work on one or two members in the room who had existing niggles. As a result Norwich Kitty Networking Group host Paul Rudd is no longer a pain in the neck, or rather he no longer has any pain in his neck!!
So all in all the White Lion gets a big thumbs up – not only a good room with complimentary pizza and an exclusive range of real ales from the Milton brewery in Cambridge but the icing on the cake was being able to sample real pork scratchings from a local butcher – how novel!
Well done Jo and Jim from Visualise for sourcing such a good venue.
There’s no official Norwich Kitty Networking Group meeting next week due to the National Beer Festival being in Norwich but we’ll be meeting in the Edith Cavell from 5pm for a social evening instead.
